Cinnamon Té

Introduction

This recipe is for a very warming and wintery drink, perfect for those cold nights. It's also great if you're feeling a little bit under the weather as the spice will help to clear your sinuses. This Té is made with cinnamon tea, but you could also use any other kind of herbal tea that you like. It is best to use a full cream milk as it gives the drink a lovely rich and creamy texture, but you could also use any other kind of milk that you like. If you want to make this recipe vegan, then you can just use plant-based milk instead.

This Té is sweetened with forest fruit jam and honey, but you could also use any other kind of jam or sweetener that you like. I like to add a pinch of ground ginger and cardamom to the drink as well, as these spices go really well with cinnamon. However, feel free to experiment with other spices that you like.

This recipe makes one cup of Té, but it can easily be multiplied to make more. Simply Brew the tea in a larger pot and then add more milk and sweetener to taste.
